I am tempted to get some yellow braid, but would like to hear from guys who have experience using hi via line.
Thanks

I am running some red power pro on my spinning rods right now cuz it was on sale. I run pretty long mono or flouro leaders but so far I really like it. Its easier to see what's going on with your line especially in the wind. It looks a little goofy but as long as u run a decent leader its beneficial especially when they're biting real light and subtle

what kind of knot do you use? do you ever have a problem with it running through the guides?

I always use a uni to uni. I've learned that you don't need to go overboard on your wraps. U really only need 3-4 on the braid and 3-5 on the leader. It's always gonna click a little through the guides but if you keep it as small as possible it's all good. Lots of spit tho when u cinch it down at the end so it doesn't chafe

Id use it. Just take a magic marker to 1st 3' section.
I do that on any faded braid that i see within a few feet from my lure.

I use the yellow. I fish senko and finesse a lot and love it for that!
I use an alberto knot. I used to use the uni to uni but had trouble doing it in the wind or at the fishing site.
Found the alberto to be quicker and easier for me.

No problems with the knot going through the guides.

Yeah the hi vis is nice. If conditions are right you can see the bites.

I have been using some hivis yellow braid with a liter. Fish still seem to take the bait so no complaints on this end.

I have used it in crystal clear water and still caught fish so I don't think the fish really mind it.
