Thats what I call a catch a fisherman rig. A rig like that goes against what I know about topwater fishing. Specially rigged rigged with frogs. Maybe more successful if rigged with poppers on a lake with shad or herring, but not something I would recommend.

Topwater strikes are low % to begin with. Do not give the fish options. Make the fish zero in on one target on the surface.

Ranger, if you plan on fishing this in Ma you should check the regulations...

I believe the law is no more then 2 lures in the water at once.. I just saw it and sparked my interest lol

The frog rig is set up for three frogs. You can only use two baits at one time in Mass.. You would need to remove one frog or at least the hooks on one frog...

Ive always wondered on the laws with A-rigs but when i had asked a game warden he said as long as its one rig together then its legal. He compared it to Jerkbaits with 3 treble hooks. But id love to see what others have to say about it.

Love to throw something like that near some pads I got in mind. But I don't feel like getting a citation/fine.
But never seen one like that before.

That thing is just plain weird. It makes sense for fish because they school, but frogs? Plus no way is that thing weedless. I agree with thelucky.
