Yup, should be wrapping it all up on Monday or Tuesday depending on my work schedule. Gotta go get more plywood the cut yeild on this boat sucks because of its extra width, but it sure is awesome for casting off of!!

nice, marine plywood is defiantly the way to go. I am doing my boat floor soon and I am going to go with regular exterior plywood but im going to coat the bottom and sides with resin and the top will be vinyl flooring. I wish the composite plywood was cheaper because that would I would have loved to use that.

Yeah Ive tried all sorts of different materials had the best success with exterior grade plywoods and marine grade. Still been trying to find a full composite or honeycombed urethane board that would be structurally sound, impervious to water, not weigh a ton, and not be cost prohibitive. Long shot....... but I can dream.

when I was buying the materials to do my floor I think the price for the composite plywood was around 500 to do the main floor which is only about 6x7, which is way to much for me especially since I normally only keep my boats for a few years. One thing I was thinking about the other day was using some sort of aluminum paneling. I think they make sheets that are around 1/2" thick. And since aluminum is relatively cheap that might not be a bad material to use.
