I checked the weather for cape cod and the nights are supposed to be quit a bit warmer than northern ct where i live,so i'm thinking about making the 2+hour hike up there to try for some smallies this week end, but iv'e never gone fishing there so i was wondering if any one could give me an idea of a few places to try for smallmouth bass. Smaller lakes/ponds would be easier for me to find the fish but i want to end up somewhere with a good population of smallmouth so any info would be much appreciated. Also, has any one seen what the water temp is up there in the last week or so?
