That thing is a beast! It even looks kinda skinny compared to the size of its head!!

I think I could fit my head in the mouth of that bass!!! I guess bass fishing out west and down south is a whole different ball game... You catch a 3 lb'er out there, it's considered undersized.

Yup thats a beast for sure. The west coast bass are unreal.I saw one just like that at Knops but before I could tie on my favorite lure 6 pickerel came out of the weeds and ate him LOL.

Whats up guys?

This is Frank the other half of the Ten Pounders, so you guys are not a club and just do open tournaments each season? My buddy and I are looking forward to the tourney on Sunday, is there any other sites that you guys know of that post open tourneys through out the season, as i don't have time for a club, but if i want to do some fishing it would be nice to be able to jump in on tournaments through out the season?

See you all on Sunday, looking forward to meeting everyone!

welcome to the site. you are correct about the open tournaments. i'm not sure of other sites that do the same thing but others here might.

Yea, thanks Sam! I mean obv, i am going to try to make the tourneys you guys put on, but in-case you guys don't have one booked, i was just curious if maybe some people know some other sites to check!

This is the place to be Frank! Good size tourneys, all types of boats, and certainly an endless amount of characters. Great people fish these tourney's. We usually have our 1st on in mid April, and try to have one every 2-3 weeks....Make sure to save some money in the winter. The Landlord needs his rent early and often.

As far as other sites, im not to sure...i found this one a few years ago and dont need to look anywhere else.

MAFF is where it is at

Good luck Sunday

Ed it's super simple just take 119w,I think thats exit 31.come off the ramp and about 3 miles down, just after the rt25 lights is Whiley Rd.
Take that right and its down the road abit on your left just after Lost Lake Rd.Be careful,Whiley Rd is a narrow, twisty, dark backroad.

alright guys, i appreciate the input and like the enthusiasm!!! So do you guys post like a tourney schedule at the start of the season, kind of like what i seen on the homepage for through out the year? My father and I boat a Nitro couple years ago and was in a club, but just didn't have the time nor did we really know the lakes we were fishing, so that with no time to pre-fish to learn them was kind annoying, so now in my free time looking for some new spots to fish and just have some fun when we have the time.

I will see you all Sunday and looking forward to it meeting all of you.

Ed,

Make sure you stay on the main road, there is a lot of roads that branch off to the left and right, so just stay on what looks to be the main, Just a helpful tip to be aware of..

after taking the turn onto whiley, up the road a bit is a sorta half fork / split and you want to stay to the left. there's no signs so its tough to determine which way to go. also, the road is narrow and winding. the launch is on the left and is very easy to miss as the sign is small and the lot is set back off the road. if you miss it, you have to go up the road a ways to an intersection to turn around.

maybe we should put up a couple of signs to follow. just a thought.

GOOD IDEA BRO!!! PUT SOME SIGNS UP
