Hey all I went out driving during Irene (I wasn't seeing alot of storm at my house). I got out to Walmart and picked up some strike king worms. On my way to Walmart i had to cross a small bridge which has the housatonic river running underneath it. Now normally at this point in the river its under 2-3 feet deep.
While driving by I looked at the river and saw it was about 3-4 feet under the bridge. (Normally probably about 10-15 feet). I was curious seeming the river runs behind my house. I got home and took the 30 second walk to the river to see this. (See the pic)
Its a little blurry but you get the picture.
Thankfully this is pretty much the damage felt on my street.[/img]
