Looking to fish this spot this weekend with my wife, putting a small boat in with a gas and 3HP motor.
Has anyone fished it lately? Is there generally a lot of fishing pressure on weekends? Is it a productive fishery/worth it or should we check out somewhere else?
Also, is the boat ramp there very steep? Going to be towing with a DOHC 3.0 Taurus wagon with a hitch, boat weights >500lbs, trailer another ~200lbs. Car is FWD, just worried about all the weight being on the tongue/rear of the car, and off of the front wheels when trying to get purchase pulling it out.
