One More Yak Trip

Water will not warm up this time of year. Not enough strong sunlight. Temps may hold steady though. Some nice jumbos in Maquan! LIttle picks can be a PIA!

shallow ponds will definatly warm up this time of year with the temps that are forecasted this week. Just science , not rocket science.

im thinking this warm up will warm up the water to 50

I was yaking in Pembroke Sunday and only saw 42-43

Small pond I fished Wednesday was 38. The previous Saturday, by the launch area, there was a thin sheet of ice on the water (though there the water is like three inches deep).

Got these and more on Wednesday.

In the past it has been a good cold water pond. Didn't find it to be the case this year. My last couple of trips there got a couple of calico and small picks. No bass!

Hey thelucky maybe I'll meet up with you at Furnace Saturday, I'll probably be there 7:30ish! My schedule changed a bit so I'm going Thursday and possibly Friday also,maybe Maquan and Stetson.

I still plan on being there on Saturday morning. Not sure what time, that depends on how much fun I have on Friday night.

I usually put in on the beach but may look to launch off the road on the North side.

Couple boats out there today, more than I expected for the middle of December. Not sure if you were one of them? I was out from 7-12.

Got two today, a small one and a 5.2 on the dropshot. I'll take it. =)

I was driving down rte 58 and something pulled me in the direction of Maquan Pond instead and it sucked,only caught a couple perch.

That was mistake, I put a beating on them on furnace.

Went to Plymouth this morning had a nice 2 pound Smallmouth, bunch of Pikerel and a few Perch!
