Joe got on a good pattern this past weekend and he couldnt let it down. He decided to skip work and invited me along for some cold water bassin'. Didnt have a big window so we buckled down at a local haunt and good ol' Larry with the side scan had us on what we were looking for in short order. Tough fishing for the first hour. I finally hooked into a small one to get the skunk out. On to the next spot I hook up second cast in on the jig. Slow drag then it hit a brick wall. Set and she was running to the side like a grown one does. Decent battle and a couple runs under the boat and shes netted (Wish it was braid and coulda boat flipped er'). Solid 5 in the boat. Went on to grind out this area for nothing after some high hopes. Picked a few more similar areas to no avail for a couple hours other than a rat and a few short bites. Found one last spot on the way out as the sun was going down and decided it couldnt be passed up. Few casts in my line snaps sky high on the jig gravity fishing it. Reel down and set into something good. Boated another bigun to wrap it up. All fish came out of 18-23 FOW on jigs and 12 lb fluoro
