checked the rez. there were 4 guys out from the west end. water all around the edges. there was a questionable makeshift bridge to get to the ice. one of the guys cane off. one of the boards sagged into the water. would have been better off walking through the water. was told that there was about 5inches of ice. top of ice looked rear soft.Do you think its safe for ice fishng in the danvers area
I was out there on Sunday. There's about 4-5", but a lot of slushy spots and puddles too. It's doable, but with rising temps this week, use extreme caution. Bring waders or something of the like. They are filling it back up and the current has created a few feet of unfrozen water between the shore and the ice pack.
