WOW!!!...what a nice lake!.....didn't have a clue where to start but I wanted to understand how deep the weeds where and I was very impressed....first bass was 3.25#...second was 3.00#...3rd was 4.00#...then 2 smaller fish for 5 fish for 12# total...not bad for first time there....I didn't exploit what I found just left it alone and moved on to try another spot....those fish fight HARD there!...that's a good sign of quality water with good oxygen in the water...caught quite a few white perch on a crankbait in 10 fow....I sure wish I had much more time to learn more about lake Shirley!
