we had a tournament last year about the same time. Swimming jigs in the 4-8' range, as well as Junebug colored Senkos around shallow cover worked well. Best of luck.

We also fished Manchaug on Saturday (and South Watappa on Sunday). Maybe you saw us out there in my boat ... camo Alumacraft mod-vee. I caught around 30 fish that day including 7 species that would make Al Linder proud. Caught most on 1/8oz round jig head and Fat Albert curly tail grubs in watermellon red flake and a Boag Hog blk/blue jig with a Paca Chunk trailer. Caught most either close to shore or in the rocks. Just as I caught a 2lber from a rock line my buddy fishing the other side of the boat pulled a nice 4lber out of the weeds on a small twitch bait (Sluggo). Did the best from the ramp going right (I believe north) up and around the cove. Not that familiar with the lake so can't give u details but also did good up through the channel all the way north around the islands. Found them in the rocks but also along the transition points from gravel bottom into the grassy weed area.

Hope that helps.

Last time I fished there, I was fishing docks. We'll apparently this guy didn't like me fishing around his dock and decided to yell profanities at me out his window. I asked if he was having a bad day and he yelled," your gonna be having a bad day if I come down there". I would imagine he still lives there. Blue house with a maroon and white boat tied to the dock. Anyway, I have had good luck there on a crawfish pattern crank bait, especially near the small island.

As you leave the Ramp, left shore line as you make the Bend before the Dam, is a hole, that cove isnt very deep 12 ft maybe

Go out thru the rock wall into big Lake, around bend to left is a deep channel about 50-60 yrds out from shore then in the West Cove there is a couple of streams that feed it Floating Warf has nice cover and then Finally, Blueberry island, not on the shore side near the YMCA but deep side of the Island. Giant Sand bar with a couple of holes going toward the street

Hope this helps ya Kamil!!!!
