So I have tomorrow off and my fishing partner is working. I can't get our boat out on the water alone and I'm kind of sick of my normal spots to fish from shore. I live in Stoughton, usually fish Canton Res, local Stoughton ponds, Norton Res, a pond in Easton off of Rt 123 and Houghton's Pond.
Anyone have any suggestions for any other spots around me or even within a 30 minute drive that's decent from shore? Looking for bass of course. Any help is appreciated.

I fish mostly north shore and above so I can't offer any direct advice but I did take a look at the old version of the "best bets for bass" webpage from the mass wildlife website (http://www.mass.gov/dfwele/dfw/recreation/locations/best_bets_bass.htm and saw Ponkapoag Pond which is about 6 miles away from Stoughton. ever hear of/try it?
