parents had a camper there year round growing up, caught several nice bass there over the years, the slime darts are abundant, I have not fished it in several years, but was a shallow pond as I can remember hitting bottom several times while learning to water ski, lol. not sure if this last winter might have taken a toll on the fish. I would still give it a try. I remember the cove by the campground office was one of the better spots for me......
Just got back from family weekend at pine acres. Very nice camp ground, lake was nice too. Very shallow, stained water. Caught 5 fish, biggest was 2 lbs. Family enjoyed it & I got to fish. Anyone know of other camp grounds like this one? Lake was ok for fishing, but swimming was not so great.
