Ok guys, will be fishing Cochituate in a few weeks. I have only fished it once and just did ok. Wondering if any of you could give me some pointers (which sections produce best, baits, colors), anything would be better than I got. Thanks in advance for the info. Yes, will be fishing from a boat.

any value to my hearing that the middle lake is hardly worth the effort?

yes

move often..usually if one lake is off,you can find active fish in another..

Be sure to try the middle lake

weeds, senkos, move often, try middle lake. Thanks guys....any preferences to certain colors Mr. Stratos?

Color is over rated. Pick a natural loking color, brown, green, black and stick with it. Sometimes ones with flake in them help.

I run shallow crank baits along weed edges even on Hott sunny
Days and still do well. Try shakey head on points if it gets tuff. Two day tourney this year was won using the shakey.
