FYI
There will someone checking boats at the ramp for milfoil (or any other foreign tag along). The guy that does it lives on the lake and appears to take it seriously. They just got over a bacteria bloom a couple weeks ago, and the Northeast corner is roped off due to milfoil. You will see a lot of debris floating, and a ton of vegetation on the North side, just outside the shallow cove "where everyone goes".
I've been having great success with my kids, but the guy at the ramp stated it's been "tough" for most. I found it amusing because he watched us (from his home) later in the day not move (due to our success in our spot).
Good luck to all of you, if there's going to be 16 boats, plus regulars, it's going to be crowded in the lot. The kids and I, well it looks like a good opportunity to check out someplace new.
