Had great luck with fishing/boat stuff off craigs over the last two years but today takes the cake. An 08 Minn Kota Riptide 55lb ST (saltwater teraova) for 300. After having been attached to a 24 volt source it fried a cap on the main board. Can buy those for 200 dollars shipped. Multimeter said every other part of the motor is functioning correctly, I've already got the old board out and will be ordering the new one as soon as the taxes come in. The motor and foot pedal are like new, even if I need to put another 200 into it for 700 total I'm still 500 dollars ahead. I've had a 36lb transom mount jury rigged to the bow of my boat for the last couple years and it is time to upgrade. I had been spending 600 on a new one any ways.
