How's fall fishing in NH?

Does anyone have experience with fall smallie fishing in NH? Worth the trip or not? I am talking about Winnipeasaukee lake region. Thanks.

Fish paugas bay over by the marinas.... at the BK end you will see a large wooden wall... Drag a 1/4oz green salt n pepper jumbo gitzt jig out deep very slow with light line and you most will definatly find them....

Isnt fishing closed in NH?
