Hey all,

A member here had linked to the USGS water data and man that was awesome.

I have fished the Merrimack about all my life (I am 37) and most of my spots are from shore and very dependent on river levels as to if they will be "hot". I cannot always drive over and see the Merrimack, especially the lower end in Lowell out towards Tewksbury. Anyone have a report share it here or maybe we could get a sticky started on the board for river reports.

Anyways, I have a great spot on the lower Merrimack IF the water there is fairly high or even very high. It's a bust if water is low. With all the rain already and another 1.5 or so inches tomorrow to Friday I am salivating.

Using the USGS link:

Here are two charts of the river as measured in Lowell where the Concorde River empties in the lower section.

Flow rate (Cubic Feet/sec)

Gauge Height (feet)

Going by this the river is getting up there. Maybe worth a shot Friday.
