I was going to bring my boat down but the Cape's gonna be alot cooler then around here this weekend so I'm going to go shore fishing once again and I was curious for those who have fished Santuit on boats, is there places for me to shore fish there? It's shallow and it seems like all the shallower ponds are turning on and I don't know where any smaller shallower ponds are in Cape near where I go besides Joshau's and Micah's which are my go to's. Thanks for any responses (cough Neil and his 55 fish day)!

Santuit cannot be fished from shore. The ramp area is the only public land around the pond, and you would regret not bringing your boat. The Cape (where I live) is not that cold- it's supposed to be high 40's almost 50 tomorrow. The wind is 5-10 out of N. There will be plenty of sheltered shoreline around Santuit. Take a crawfish looking lure, jig,senko-etc and just stay a cast away from the shore. The shoreline is littered with wood and branches, the LM are holding on this wood. Slow roll a spinnerbait or square bill small crankbait. Huge pickeral are also biting. All my fish since January (fished it 8 times) have come from the shoreline- less than 5 ft !!!

Haha I am already up here and left my boat and for me this weekend of low 50s is cold in comparison to my western MA's forecast of pper 60s/lower 70s this weekend Smile You have any suggestions for where to go for a smaller pond these two days?

I was fishing saturday and then slept in today- so I'm a little late in getting back to you. You're probably already out fishing somewhere !
