I've never tried Stren Sonic , What size did you use ?
I like to use frogs of all types and 2x 3/4 wake baits that I have, so I guess 30-40lb would be ok to use? WoW did not notice the price difference also.

I've tried every braid on the market, and my personal favorite is stren sonic braid. it has a glide coat on the line that makes it fly through the eyelets and it retains it's color longer than all the other brands I've tried.
the color on power pro bleaches away too quickly for me, same for suffix. berkley braid is too stiff, grand slam isn't dark enough for my liking

I recently bought some sonic braid and like it. Your defiantly right about the color. I've been fishing my braid just about 2 months and the green still hasn't faded! Only downside i find is the sonic will dig into the spool after catching a decent size fish outta heavy cover. Alot of other brands of braid do that anyways.

what pound test of sonic braid are you using?

65lb

I fish alot of clear water with 65lb and dont find fish turned off when using moving baits so I would say 50lb or 40lb.

I predominantly use 30lb test stren sonic braid, but I do have a flipping stick set up that has 65lb test on it. I've found that with lighter test braid i tended to get a lot of wind knots, but with the 30lb, it never happens. the only time I use the 65lb test is when flipping to heavy cover, the 30 lb i use for open water and light cover

I end up getting 10lb P-Line CXX X-tra Strong Moss Green Fishing Line for my Zebco Omega Pro Reel and stayed with the 30lb Vermilion red PowerPro ® Braided Line for my bait caster , I never had any issues with PowerPro always work great for me but will be the first time using the 10lb P-Line.
I wanted to get the new Cajun Line® Cajun Red Monofilament Line with the Polymer coating but they didn't have any in stock.
