Fishing the Charles

Yeah, I thought so. For example, I was trying to figure out why I had so little success at Cow Island Pond when it looks like it should be good fishing. The report says that the water quality in that section of the river is poor. So I won't launch there any more.

Lately Cow Pond and the area has turned up oil sheen along the shoreline. Either someone has been dumping or there is spill from somewhere nearby.

One drop of oil can make a sheen a mile long.
