Fishing in Narragansett??

I'm going to spend five days in a rental house in Narragansett, RI. I know they have a "town beach" that you pay for, and they are unlikely to allow shore casting. Does anybody know of any piers or beaches in 'gansett where I can get my line wet?

You can fish off the rocks near the towers and there is also a small pier people fish off near the boat ramp just south of there.

Just up the road from there is Indian Lake which has some great freshwater fishing.
