Fishing has been tough as of lately around here

I would say for the last couple of months some lakes and ponds have been very tough to get a limit at or they are very small when you do. I want to here what everyone has been going through ,is it low water and lack of rain up until about a week ago and oxygen in the water what's your guess and how have you been doing...
