Decided to try the Sud res for first time this year was pleasantly rewarded!A 2 and 3+lb lm and 2 smallies in an hour and 15 min of fishing don't know who said it but yah I'm one of those guys now I have Senko fever can't stop using them they have been deadly!
Nice trip. I was out there last weekend and pulled several nice larries( roughly 2.5-4 lbs). I didn't know there were smallies in there though.
I am headign there after work today to hopefully get in a couple of hours. I can only hope that it will be as productive as your trip.
Those senkos are killers, so far this year I have pulled several nice size trout, a few picks, countless larries and even a freaking sunfish. Go to bait for the summer!

Yeah theres some nice smallies in there I guess turns out that 3+lb larry was actually a smally the guy at my work told me that explain the fight I was saying to my self this fish fought like a smally he said he could tell by verticle stripes fish I thought were smallies were actually rock bass.I don't catch them that often thats why I got confused I'm heading out there for a while tonight.

I fish the sud alllllllll the time (it's my local hole), never once pulled a smallie out. Tons of LMB, perch, sunfish, pics; but no smallies.
I'm headin' out in the morning, might need to switch to the senko. All they've been bitin' on for me so far this year is the blue gill red eye shad lipless crank.
