My first 4 and only 4 bass were over 2 lbs.! First 2 lbs. of the season. Its been a slow start this year , windy, cool and rainy most days out. Some big pickerels, blue gill, sunfish and a few bass under a pound if I was lucky. But today I set out to Greens Pond with my new weapon! Berkley turtle back worm (pumpkinseed). Fished for about 2 hours and hooked 4 bass and lost 2 or 3, they were loven the worm! All near the shore, fishing weeds and pads. Great day on the pond, feels good.
