Any one catch any stripe bass along the river was thinking on buying a salt water bait caster for me and my son and maybe get a kayak , I do hear they run all the way to the Taunton River. We have no tackle to start with and would like to start stocking this winter for next year .
I know a bunch of guys that fish the Taunton River for stripers from kayaks. Go for it, but also make sure that you get yourself up to speed in kayak safety. A great place to start is NewEnglandKayakFishing.com
