Headed out about 11:00am fished til 6:30pm 2 picks and 2 largemouth ,water temp was about 61. The bite was real slow today ,but the temps are up in the pond.I was just wondering if anybody had luck today ,just thought it might be a cold front or something.

were they bedding? i hit the charles waltham and we caught about 20 bass and 2 pickerel. i would say 17 bass were keepers with a few nice ones in there. nothing huge though. i think the reason was b/c the big bass were up making the beds already so they weren't in the typical cover. bite turned completely off from about 2-5 though.

I didn't see any beds today

I put the puddle paddler on Field's Pond Saturday morning, fished for 4 hours, got 2 little guys. Not impressed. Did see a few beds cleared out, but nothing sitting on them. Water was 61 degrees.

Looks like a solid day! What stretch of the Sudbury do you fish?

Nice job on the Sudbury. I havent seen too much in the way of beds or bedding fish, very sporadic.

We started out at the bridge made our way all the way down to the bay. But stopped and fished all along the way lot of flooded area flats and timber even went behind the farm in concord water was about 4 ft deep in there water temps went up to 64 degrees.
Most fish where caught off the tips of timber except for pickerel it was cruising the flats. No beds we could see yet but if you look at the tail of the fish I am holding he had been fanning a bed. Got that one dragging a lizard down limb of a downed tree. Some where caught with spinner baits and some on a fineness jig and a crank bait. The pickerel slammed a spinner bait. I didn't post all of the pics but not worth posting dinks. LOL
