Bass on the Concord River feed very heavy in the shallows, great place to go frogging.Crankbaits and Jigs would not my choice for the Sudbury, (Not saying they wont work) But, theres 2 baits I wouldnt leave home without, and they are Rapalas HJ14S and J13P ....Colors of these baits, I dont thing matters much, BUT, MY habit is to stay with natural colors, if you can.......But size matters, try to stay with 5-1/4" baits, unless you have a few Swimbaits in the 6-8" range, then go with them........Pitch these baits to the shoreline on the river and watch how the bass jump on these baits.

Good luck!
