Chatter baits

After reading this post I decided to try a chatter bait today and I caught a decent bass but nothing to brag about. Will try it again tomorrow.

I've never ever thrown a chatter bait. I'll have to give it a try soon.

Chatter bait are GREAT prespawn baits. They can be fished extremely shallow or deeper, you control the depth with your retrieve. They are great over last years dorment vegetation and this springs emerging vegetation. hey can go where a jerkbait and shallow crank cannot at times. They trigger very aggressive cold water bites .
