Chronicle last night had a nice show on the Charles last night. If there is a replay I would recommend watching it. They interview the guy from Charles River Charters and he said he has never been skunked?
The Charles has been pretty brutal this year, well anything past Watertown has. I think the back to back years of drought with the tough winter has hurt the bass fishing. Also throw in that the carp are taking over has not made a good year for any skinny water fishing. On the flip side the lower end is booming. The herring runs have been really strong the last few years and there is just so much bait in the river now. There is a lot of fat fish swimming around in Boston.
