I started out fishing for bass, but after missing my one and only strike on a topwater frog(I tried other baits too but didn't get a reaction), I then caught several black crappies on a small 1/8oz spinnerbait.
It then became a 'crappie outing'
After a few more, I said "I'm gonna start keeping some for supper!"... and didn't get another bite!

It was an absolutely beautiful day today - had a great time all in all just being in the outdoors.
