Gonna take the yak for my 1st trip to Canton Res this Saturday ( 2nd trip actually but gate was locked at 5:15 last week so i went elsewhere,I'll try 6 O'clock this week) If anyone wants to join me for a few hours I'll be at the gate or the parking area @ Pequitside Farm Waterfront around 6.
I can't do Saturday but was there yesterday and not sure what time the gate actually opens but it was unlocked at 7:45 when I got there. There was already a guy there fishing so I think it was unlocked much earlier.
And are they for real with the no motorized boats sign? I just laughed at that. Giant boats all over the lake.

The day the gate was locked I hung out til 5:45ish then went around the corner to Police Station,they said it wouldn't open until 8 so I went somewhere else.I called Canton Conservation Commission this week and all they could tell me was it opens at dawn,I said 8 O'clock is well past dawn and then they said they didn't know what time it opens. I guess I'll find out Saturday....
