Regarding tourney late shows - I've been thinking about this in regard to our kayak tourneys (not that we have had any issues so far, knock on wood) but it would apply here too. Make a rule that says late arrivers need to locate the tournament host on the water and pay their fee within the first hour/two hours of the tournament. That way you don't have to delay launch times waiting for someone who may never show up.
With the way Boone has been getting hammered, I'm guessing 11ish. Someone will find them, they always do.
I've only fished it once but from what I've heard it goes from 1-2lbers to a 5 plus. Not a very balanced fishery but if you can find a big one its the difference maker which makes for a fun tournament. I could be wrong but that's what I've heard. The place lays out great for a cartopper too.

For them its a if we do well in the first couple hours will hang out and pay at the end. If they dont they just pack it up before the t ends and take off free of charge.
Granted some aren't morning people but da fuq. Sleeping in an extra 20 minutes ain't gunna get you anywhere except late to the lake.

I'm the ultimate not a morning person and I've only been late once for putting the wrong info in my gps and last year I woke up late for Horn but it's so close to my house I made it on time. If I can be on time anybody can. I'll be late for my own funeral
