I am not sure if this forum is active or if anyone is in my area, but I'll give it a shot. I am a recent graduate of Cornell University living in Cambridge, MA. I studied fish ecology and forestry in college. I have worked with fish quite a bit but mostly for research in the field. I never learned to fish for sport! I am very eager to learn. I hope I can find mentors or fishermen to shadow in the Boston area who can help me learn the basics. I'm a quick learner and and very enthusiastic about fish! If anyone can spare a couple hours to talk with me about bait and tackle or even what fish are found around Boston I would absolutely welcome the opportunity.
