Anyone fishing the Deerfield?

My open water pike season in CT looks like it's about done Wife wants to hit the Yankee Candle with my sister-in-law, so I was thinking about a few hours on the Deerfield River. Anyone been fishing it recently? It''ll be a first for me, but I do a lot of winter fishing, and even a skunk is better than shopping.

i live in deerfield fish there year around. Some good spots under stillwater bridge but there doing construction on parts of it.

If you don't end up fishing the Berkshire Brewing Company is right across the street. They give pretty cool tours on Saturdays.
