So I went on the VT Fish Finder, and they haven't posted since 2009. Odds are I'm not going to get a spawn status there Rolling Eyes

Has anyone ventured up to central or northern VT? Ludlow or Burlington areas more specifically. Looking to see if spawn has started.

I suppose that the worst would be nearly $100 in wasted gas and 8-10 hours on the water...

Just got a report from Alburg that said the water is 6' higher than normal. They caught a 5lb11oz largemouth, full of eggs, on the front lawn. Who knows when the spawn will happen? Smallmouth should be pretty close by now. Problem is water temp. Even if they aren't spawning, there should be plenty of big fish to make it worth while.

going up to VT this weekend. I guess they've been having warm weather and its supposed to be in the 70s all weekend. I'm hoping by sunday the water will have at least hit the 60 degree mark

Had a great weekend fishing in VT. Landed some quality fish including a 5 lb plus GIANT! (that estimate could be off, but check it out for yourself. Beauty of a fish either way)
