I'm having serious withdrawl... I'm hoping to ice fish a few times, but it can't compare with having a quick hour or two for fishing after work when it's light until 7/8/9 Sad

twebber- nice profile pic!

I agree...there's nothing like warmer/longer days that provide the opportunity for a quick and comfortable outing. But with that said, over the last 4 years some of the funnest and most productive days of fishing have been through the ice. You can have a group of people together, play a little ice golf, throw the football around, cook on the ice, start a fire, enjoy some whiskey......and ohh yeah, have a great chance to catch the biggest bass of your year! I can't wait for a couple of months on the hard water!

Wojo- I completely agree that fishing in the cold water makes you an overall better and more prepared Angler. I hope to make it to one this year but I may need to travel for work and then we have the holidays. Either way, I wish you guys good luck bud!
