Almost skunked!

Went out this morning to the upper cape pond I've been having lots of success at last few weeks. My last 2 trips prior to today I caught multiple smallmouth over 2 pounds and largemouth over 4. Today was awful. No sign of any smallmouth and after 3 hours I caught one tiny largemouth. I expected much more with water temps falling. One possible factor is a recent algae bloom. I noticed it last week and it was worse today. Water was crystal clear all summer and is now solid green.

I had a slow day also . Went out for 3.5 hours. One bass each. Water temp was 60-62 degrees.

was out from 7 am to 6 pm. hit country pond and attitash and has 12 fish in 12 hours 8 pickerel and 4 bass biggest being a 2.5. this front and pressure change gave em a case of the lock jaw. water levels also low at attitash
