I'm a student from CA who has only been here a year and have been able to keep my sanity only with the occasional fishing break. I wouldn't have been able to get my foot in the door (or near the water) without the advice of people on this site, many of whom I probably met while fishing.
I have a ways to go in terms of getting back to my catch numbers in freshwater as opposed to salt back in CA, but I'm having a great time doing it (1 Rainbow trout in the last 5 months) at the Chu, super excited to get back out there come April.
