Blackstone River
I went there and attempt to catch my first Carp in Mass. It was still too early to go after for them.
I fished 930am to 1pm. no nibbles. haven't seen any carp. There was several bow hunters who keep shooting into water but pulled nothing at all. This is my first time that I ever skunked during carp fishing outings. Well, I cannot get them all! haha
I guess I'll wait another week or two before coming back to this river again.
Tuna that spot gets fished pretty hard now last couple times I've been there got skunked couple nice pools further down from there going to put some waders to use in that stretch
I started fishing the blackstone last year in january and was catching regularly. Great spot to fish when you can't go on the ice anywhere and there's not enough open water.
Not sure where you were fishing in the river but there are spots that you can catch them all winter long. If you were in Uxbridge you weren't that far away.
I might give Indian a shot over the weekend, Friend just foul hooked a Carp and got back some BIG SCALES!!
