Honey hole Fishing Report

5lb 9oz Slob!!!!

Went out for a few hours today!!! Ended up with about 15 fish biggest was 5lb 9oz fatty!!! I was trolling around for a bit with a jig and wasn't getting any hits so i switched to a worm and started pulling in some bass. Nothing big prob 1 1/2 lbers so i kept moving looking for the big girls!!! I see a sand bar in the open water and figured let me try here looked good deep water around it so I casted out an oversized worm to the outer edge of it and let it fall Then reeled in slow i felt tension and i set the hook!!!! My drag ripped out like crazy thought for sure it was a big pickerel . (Ripped out so much drag i started to troll after her lol) then bam jumped out the water and i'm like joe get the net its a good one!!! Thought it was a 6lber but fell short but still and awesome fight on that fish fun day for a couple hours of fishing!!!!
