Comment: This thing was probably around 5 and a half pounds, but it was pretty decomposed but not bloated. Good size for shore accessible fishing. I didn't get a weight on the one I caught a few years back under the concrete but it barely fit in a 2.5 gallon Poland Spring container. So it was a doozy.

Comment: Hm, different strokes for different folks I suppose. I've never had big fish luck there when the water was down. The only serious lunker I've caught was under the concrete, weird. I did see a big one dead a couple weeks ago, looks like a bird got him.

Comment: Also, if you're looking for bass you're in the right spot. I've pulled some big bass out of that pond, but on the larger side. Fishing on the concrete thing will usually reward you with at least some crappie if not a scrappy bass or two. Try flies too, everything's rising these days around the low hanging bushes.

Comment: I can guarantee you there are trout still in there, they're just tough to find. The lowered water level of recent weeks seemingly give the fish lockjaw. If you're after trout, I'd say your best shot there is to bomb out a spoon or heavy spinner on the smaller side (on your right when heading towards the rotary). Figures the one night of the week I'm not there there's a member there!
