Killer fishing! However “No Fishing” is allowed. A Game Warden stalks this lake year round, cuz so many locals know about the killer fishing. The quality fishing (from shore only) is hard to resist. A once a year, an “On Foot Fishing Mission, at Dusk Only” is worth risk. If you're unlucky the Game Warden, will bust you, fine you, take your gear and possibly arrest you, if your name is in the Book of "People he's caught in the Past". He carries around with him in his truck. It's pretty thick and has a ton of names in it. First timers usually lose your gear so bring cheap stuff in case you get caught. Yes I made the book. Caught my biggest crappie ever outta here 4 + lbs and I have seen fish as long as my leg swimming the shorelines. There are Monster Pickerel, Bass and Crappie and Perch living there. There are probably more but I’m speaking on my experiences only. |
