This place is always crowded, and even when it's not, I can't seem to find any fish in there. Last I checked, a canoe rental was like 24 bucks an hour, so exploring by boat isn't a great option. It's close to my house, but I think I'm going to cross it off my list of spots to hit when I need a quick fishing fix. |

This spot is kind of weird. Along the shore there are lots of flats and some really deep spots with lots of coves and rocks. It looks like it would be awesome, but I've only caught one bass there and had 2 other bites in almost 10 trips this year. Seems like a boat would be a good idea, but you can't put your own in and to rent one is around $18/hr, so its a little pricey if you want to get out and fish for awhile. |
