Comment: I release the fish that I catch out of that river, because I see trash, and junk like: bottles, and old trash bags going through that river. I also read about all of the waste that goes through the river, and it sounds really gross. I could never eat a fish out of that river.

Comment: Arent you concerned since the water is so contaminated? I live in the area and always looking for places to fish. I never had luck at Spot Pond... but pulling a fish out of a river with fecal matter coliforms doesnt seem healthy...

Comment: I fish the malden river a real lot. The part that I fish is right next to a parking lot at a doctors office. When the sun shines directly on the river, you can see all the fish cruising in and out of the river. Most of the fish are carp, but occasionally you'll see a striper cruise by the river too.
