Comment: Deep Pond is located in the Hatchville section of Falmouth just east of Sam Turner Road, less than a mile south of Route 151. To get there, take Route 28 to Route 151; take Route 151 east for a little more than a mile; take a right onto Sam Turner Road. Access is rather poor, but there are two sites. The first is right off Sam Turner Road on the swampy cove at the southwestern end of the pond. This is suitable only for canoes or very light weight craft, as the launch is basically into a swamp; if there are low water conditions, it is virtually impassible. The other access site, owned by the town, is very steep and located at the end of Pondview Drive. Electric motors only are permitted on this pond.
