Quacumquasit Pond (aka South Pond)
Hit Quabuag Pond at 7am smothered in fog and after an hour or so with no luck in the 0' viability water my partner and I decided to scoot down the river to Quacumquasit Pond. We were throwing a mix of Plastics, Jigs, and the kitchen sink, as well as dragging some minnows around behind us while casting on the limited shore structure. The minnows proved to be the kings of the day, netting us 3 or 4 bass in the 2.10 - 3.2 range. We also hooked up and landed several bass with yellow tailed plastic stick baits and lizards.
