  • Indeed there's bass and sunfish, but no pickerel???? I've fished that place inside and out and never ever caught or seen a pickerel. Must of called it pickerel pond as a throw off :) But only problem is there's no other game fish keeping the bass population in order...Still has a couple hogs in there though.

Pickerel Pond Description

A tiny little hard to reach pond with surprisingly decent fishing. The pond drops off very quickly and is pretty much one big hole. The max depth in around 23ft and the majority of the pond is 10-15ft. The water is stained a brownish tint. Lot's of slime algae so expect picking it off baits frequently. It's quite difficult to launch a boat, but kayaks will fit in without too much trouble. Great for a neighborhood pond, but not worth a trip if your not local.
