I switched over to Owner hooks exclusively and they're the best for the money. For tubes, I've been using the phantom tube hook by owner, they're a pain to rig, but they are nice to use.

I use the Mann's Weasel and works well for me. Swim it parallel to bank or along weeds and big gals blast it. Pickerel like it also!

keep your eyes on the Hodgman website in the clearance section. They'll have $100+ waders on clearance for $40 or so regularly. Nice variety.
